can't help thinking about NGE...
i don't often remember things, everyone knows what kind of a slipshod memory i have, but there was something mentioned in one of the episodes that caught my mind, something that i vaguely recall till now... its one of those things that one will pause the video and rewind back to re-watch it, something that flashed on-screen so fast that one barely catches it, something intended to be so minor yet to enshroud so much deeper meaning within its symbolism.

i shall attempt a reconstruction:
